32. NightIt's when the sand Cools down32. Night
After a long
Day of heat,
When all the Colored umbrellas
Are gone, When the wind has Blown the last Footprints away
That I like best. The moon casts a
Soft glow on A sea as smooth
As polished glass.
A gentle breeze
Washes over the
Water's surface, Distorting the moon's Reflection. I remember the past, Days floating over
The shallow coral reefs, The water as clear As the sky,
Not a flaw to be found. Playful swells crash Onto the beach,

TBD Chap 2 After a few hours of hiking along the road, we fell silent and the only noise was the rustling of the trees as an occasional, welcomed breeze flew past. We only passed two other people on the wide dirt path, and they were only farmers hauling fruits, vegetables, and small livestock in wagons. They were both heading in the direction we came from, probably to go to the big city to trade their goods. As evening drew near, we came across a hill, and past the top, a plume of smoke was rising into the air. We hiked over the top of the hill, and we saw what had happened.TBD Chap 2
